100 Coats for Those Who Are Homeless in Oxfordshire This Winter

Due to the tremendous success of the previous campaigns collecting hundreds of coats, we’ve decided to do it again. We’re asking you to dig into your wardrobe or cloakroom and donate any clean, adult coats you no longer wear.

Help us donate #100 coats for the homeless this winter

Help us donate 100 coats for those who are homeless in Oxfordshire this winter!

Whilst many of us enjoy the luxury of heat and shelter when the weather turns, many people in Oxfordshire don't have anywhere to call home. When the cold weather commences people who are homeless in our community desperately need clean warm coats to help protect them through the harshest season of the year.

Why?

Due to the tremendous success of the #100 Coats campaign in previous years collecting hundreds of coats, Aston & James has decided to team up with Oxfordshire Homeless Movement during November and December 2024. We’re asking you again to dig deep into your wardrobe or cloakroom and donate any clean, warm coats for adults in good condition that you no longer wear.

How to donate

We've made it easy for you to donate. If you currently order with us, simply bring your clean coats to your place of work and drop them off at your designated collection point. We can then collect any donations when we deliver your orders, or when your pile of coats becomes too large to manage! If you don't order with us, donated coats can be brought to our Witney office. Once collected, we store them in our warehouse until we're ready to take them to one of Oxfordshire Homeless Movements' partners for distribution to those who are most in need. Men’s coats are more in demand, but we’re really grateful for any adult coats you’re able to spare.

A special message for the recipient

We are also asking donors to attach a tag or card with a message to the recipient of the coat.

How long does the #100 Coats campaign run for?

You have until Wednesday the 11th of December 2024 to donate your coats, so please help us keep those who are homeless in Oxfordshire warm this winter. Donate today and help us achieve our target of donating #100 coats to Oxfordshire’s most in need. Any help you can give this winter would be most appreciated.
