Team Aston & James Take Part in the OX5 RUN for charity

The OX5 RUN to support Oxford Hospitals Charity

The OX5 RUN fundraiser took place at Blenheim Palace on Sunday, the 24th of March 2024, in support of the Oxford Children's Hospital charity. 900 participants took part in the annual event by running, walking, or jogging for 5 miles.

Now in its 23rd year, the participants were blessed with a beautiful spring morning for the fundraiser, which is organised by the Oxford Hospitals Charity.

About the charity

The Oxford Hospitals charity and areas across the Trust support children in hospital, including the Emergency Departments, PICU and the Horton and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. Oxford Hospitals Charity helps to transform care - funding the best medical equipment, research, training and facilities for patients and staff. With vital fundraising support, they can continue to transform the hospitals that care for you and your loved ones.

The team

Our MD, Darren Aston, was accompanied by his brother, Craig Aston, A&J team member Natalie Wicks, and, from within the wider family, Tom Greatbatch.
