Sustainability In the Workplace: why it's important

Green products are becoming a must! - We only get one planet and taking proper care of it has become a top priority of today's consumers.

Green products are becoming a must!

We only get one planet and taking proper care of it has become a top priority of today's consumers. In a global survey from IBM, 51% of respondents said that environmental sustainability is more important to them today than in previous years.

Many are practicing what they preach, with 49% of consumers saying they've willingly paid up to 59% more for products branded as sustainable or socially responsible in the last 12 months.
A variety of factors influence an individual’s ability to make sustainable choices—such as where they live, their level of income, and knowledge of their options. But these attitudes don't just apply at home, and instead have extended into the workplace as more millennials and Gen Z migrate into workplaces. These two generations are extremely aware of the impact on the environment.

In a recent survey of 1,000 UK workers, 49% felt that eliminating the use of unsustainable materials is the most effective way that their organisation could improve their environmental impact, followed by measuring carbon outputs and carbon offsetting important for more than a third of these respondents.
A combination of better product quality, greater value for money, and a better understanding of what impact their purchase can make would help more than 4 in 5 consumers buy more sustainable products.

In today's world, sustainability is a top priority for many workers. With an increasing number of people willing to pay more for ethically sourced and responsibly made materials, environmentally-friendly products have become a necessity. As a result, businesses are actively seeking out office supplies that align with their sustainability values, and manufacturers have responded to this demand.

Creating a better tomorrow starts with the steps we take today. Fortunately, there are already many sustainable office supplies available on the market. These products go beyond traditional stationery and packaging options and also include eco-friendly facility supplies, furniture, technology, and much more. Join the movement towards a greener future by incorporating sustainable office supplies into your workplace today.
