This year’s Family Business of the Year Awards celebrated excellence across the UK’s vibrant family business sector with a total of 32 awards presented.

The honours spanned a wide range of categories, including the coveted Supreme Champion Family Business of the Year, recognising the standout business of the year. Awards were also given across regional categories, showcasing the best family firms from different parts of the UK, and sector-specific categories, highlighting excellence in industries such as retail & wholesale, manufacturing, and professional services. The People’s Choice Awards gave the public a voice in celebrating their favourite family businesses, while the National Award Winners represented the pinnacle of achievement in their respective fields. Together, these awards reflect the diversity, resilience, and impact of family businesses nationwide.

A night of recognition and community

Paul Andrews, Founder and CEO of Family Business United, shared: “Family businesses are the engine room of the UK economy… Events like these are special — a real vibrancy, sense of belonging and camaraderie with plenty of pride, passion and emotion.”

With over 5 million family firms employing around 15 million people, the awards highlight the vital role these businesses play in driving the economy, supporting communities, and doing business ethically.
